deleting OS

Hello. I accidently added a second OS to my hard drive. Now I have two Windows XP Home OS's. I want to uninstall the one that I installed by accident. So far I have tried to use Add/Remove Programs like the help topics explain but it does not seem to appear on the list of programs. I have also tried to use the restore wizard but no date appears as a safe point prior to my accidently installing the extra OS. I have also tried to delete the partition but Windows will not let me.
Any ideas on what to do next?

Delete the Windows folder of the OS you're trying to get rid of.
Go to Start > Run > msconfig
boot.ini tab
and click 'Check all paths.'

Good luck
