deleting or copy multiple photos

After I dowload my photos from my camera I try to use the control button to
select multiple photos to either delete or copy to CD. But every time I do
this the program makes another copy in same file I am using. Needless to say
fourty photos becomes eighty photos.

When you use the control key to select files, if you move the mouse even
slightly you will have copies.
After you select the files using the control key, right-click, click delete or
send to. If the files are consecutive, use the shift key.
