I have a 5 year old PC with 2GHz and plenty of life left
in it. It also has 50 million usless files (hyperbole)
from applying MicroSoft patches and service releases to
the Windows 2000 Professional and Office 2003 system. How
can I get rid of these "never to be used again" files?

Delete the \Winnt\$ntuninstal...... folders.

Then, if you want, delete the Add/Remove entry, tip 34 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at
