deleting messenger

Windows messenger is driving me crazy but I can't figure
out how to delete it! Does anyone know how to get rid of

Try going into control panel and go to the add-remove
programs and try to delete it there

Greetings Robr,

You can stop this from happening by doing the following -- for Outlook (XP/2002), just open
Outlook, click the Tools menu, then Options,
then the Other tab, and uncheck 'Enable Instant Messaging in Microsoft Outlook'. For Outlook
Express, close Outlook Express, and run this .reg file:
