Deleting Files

I have been downloading movies, burning a dvd, then deleting the file from my
hard drive. The problem is, I can never restore the same amount of space I
had before. I did a seach for files, and found several that are "temp" files
but ended in BIN. Is it okay to delete those?? It gives a warning about
deleting BIN files, but they are temp files. Sorry if this sounds like a
silly question, but I don't want to mess things up..

If they are in the temp directory they should be safe to delete at a
fresh reboot. If you are uncertain copy it to a different location. If
after a while things still run ok then delete.

Thanks, I deleted them (nervously), but was able to recover 6 gigs of space!
Thanks for the help!
