I have one user who is going to check his e-mail via OWA. So he wants to
make sure all his e-mails older than 30 days will be deleted from his
mailbox. What option we have either from server side or from OWA to make this
happen. I know I can do rules in outlook mapi client but how it works for owa
client.

Depending on the version of Exchange server you can use managed folders.
Since you don't use Outlook it's better to continue this in exchange.clients

his e-mail exchange server 2003 enterprise. Do not remember if we have option
for managed folder for 2003. I thought it is only on 2007. We do use outlook
2003 client but some user use owa also especially when we check e-mail from
home. this particular user will be out of the office for long term and will
check his e-mail via owa. Can he archive his e-mail and not have to deal with
more than 30 days e-mail at a time.

OWA has no archiving feature matching Outlook's autoarchive feature. OWA
can do nothing except see what's in the Exchange mailbox. It cannot access
your local PC.
