Deleting columns

My spreadsheet goes over to column AX. When I use Ctrl-
End though, I end up on IV-107. I highlighted all columns
from AY - IV and deleted columns, saved, and still ended
up on IV107. I also put a "1" in AZ1. Then deleted
column AY and sure enough the "1" moved over to AY. Then
I saved and Ctrl-End and it still goes to IV.

Can anyone help me decrease the width of my spreadsheet?

TIA, Brad E.

That is a flaw in the Excell application. I have found a
download on the following site: http://j-walk.com/ss/
(PUP v5). It has some nice utilities in it - one of which
will re-designate the end point of a spreadsheet.

Did you also delete empty rows below your data? Also, after you deleted the
columns, did you save, close, and reopen the workbook? It seems that Excel
resets the end of the worksheet only after closing and reopening.
