deleting columns used in concatenate function

I need to delete 2 columns that are the basis of a third column that combines
the data in the first two columns. How can I do this and still have the
third column work? I used the concatenate function to create the third
column of data.

You'll have to convert those concatenation formulas to values before you delete
the original ranges.

Select the column
edit|copy
edit|paste special|values
is one way

But if you think you need the raw data and formula, maybe you could just hide
the columns instead of deleting them????
