Deleting blank rows

At the bottom of my sheet the cells go to the max amount
of rows even though the last entry is in row 3000. 3000-
65000 is all blank. How can I delete this? I've already
tried deleting them then saving and it's not working.
Any other ways you can think of?

Sorry, Jaclyn, but what do you mean that " my sheet the cells go to the max
amount of rows". Am I missing something. Each sheet comes with 65,536 rows
by 256 columns. They are not going to change just because you have ended
you data at row 3000. There is no way of limiting this default that I am
aware of.

One note tho, you only will print out just the data you have input or have
selected a cell range to print.

When you say you deleted them, did you actually delete the rows, or just the contents. Deleting
the contents will not work. Select the actual row headers (Click on the row header for row 3001
and then holding down CTRL+SHIFT press the down arrow which should take you right to the bottom.
Now let go of the keys and hit CTRL + - (CTRL plus the minus button), or do Edit / Delete / Entire
row. Do the same for the columns past whatever you believe to be your last real column of data.
Now save the workbook, and close it. You might even have to close Excel and restart it. This
should fix the problem.
