Deleting a single persistent cookie

I am unable to delete a persistent cookie that was set by a site I visited
(apparently as part of a live chat session).

Is there any way to delete it permanently without deleting all the rest of
my cookies?

Thanks very much for any help you can offer.

sure just open the cookies folder and look for the cookies from that particular site and delete it.

Hello!

You can delete cookies selectively by using IEHistoryX. On the Cookies
tab press Find button, check Show All and type site address in the
input field below. In the cookies list check unwanted cookies and
press delete button.

Hi! Thanks very much for the suggestion. I'm not familiar with IEHistoryX.
How do I access it? Also, will this method work for a "persistent" cookie as
well as a regular cookie? I have deleted it repeatedly via Internet Options >
Settings > View Files > and even permanently deleted the temp folders under
\Content\ie5 and rebooted, but each time I relaunch IE it reappears.

Thanks very much for your help.
