You should be using a Form to view the data in your table. The most
common methodology is to base a form on a row/record. Even if you
highlight a table and clidk the Autoform Icon, Access will create a
form based on a row.
While you will sooner or later learn different ways to do it, click
the Selector bar (vertical bar in the left side of the window) and
with it highlighted, hit the Delete key.
