deleting a program

Does anyone know how to stop the freezing of window XP
everytime i try to delete this one program called Bargain
buddy? I have no clue how its in my programs, and every
time i try to delete it in add/delete programs my
computer freezes and i have to just shut it off. Doing
the ctrl,alt,delte dosen't even work. thanks

These programs are called adware/spyware and the easiest
way to remove them is to run adaware,, you can obtain this
at www.lavasoftusa.com. Adaware(not the professional
version) is a free download.

Basically its Spyware. Have u tried any programs that
remove spyware such as SpyBot.

Make sure you have exited all portions of the program and then uninstall
it. The following anti-spyware sites have more details about this bit of

The Add/Delete facility just calls the program's own uninstaller.
(Program installers are supposed to add their name and uninstaller to
the list that Add/Delete shows.) So it sounds like this program's
uninstall routine doesn't work very well.

Try AdAware and the other anti-spyware programs that other posters
have recommended. If they don't work, then take action yourself:
delete the program's directory and look for and delete entries in your
Start menu (especially in the Start Up group) and in the registry.
