Deleting a NOTES FOLDER doesn't go to deleted items

In outlook 2003.

I created a folder under notes (eg called AQUA)
Then i added some notes to it.

I then right-clicked on the original (AQUA) folder and "create a new
folder". I called it MARINE.
Then i added some notes to this new MARINE folder.

If I delete the "top" folder, AQUA, then I can't see anything (either the
two folders OR the notes within them) in my deleted items folder?

** Can others replicate this?

** What is the solution as I've accidently deleted some notes I needed?

Try looking at the Folder List rather than the Mail view of the Navigation
Pain. That means clicking the button in the bottom left corner that looks
like a folder.

Now go look in the Deleted Items.

The Mail view of the Navigation Pain shows only email folders - not all of
your Outlook.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
