I hate Tweak UI Ramesh. It can't do different than you can
do with some knowledge and it takes up space. In some
cases much needed space. Please note that she would like
to remove the account not stop the e:mail notification.
go>start\control panel\user accounts and if you are an
administrator then you can add\remove accounts here. If
you want to stop the unread mail notification then
go>start\run and type in regedit and click ok or hit enter
on your keyboard. Now follow this route by clicking the
+signs beside the entries.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\UnreadMail Now click on UnreadMail to highlight it and
then click permissions and then click each account one at
a time and set permissions to deny in all cases and you
will never have the annoying unread mail message again. Or
if you are the only one who doesn't want this annoying
behaviour then only set permissions to deny on your
account. Wow all this and no Tweak UI. mmmm. Keeep smiling.

Your choice, but as far as I'm concerned, an extrememly foolish
one.

That's certainly correct. But almost every case, when you can do
something with TweakUI, you can do it much more easily and much
more safely than without it, You can sneeze at those advantages
if you wish, but I certainly don't recommend that anyone else
does.

LOL! TweakUI.exe takes up the grand total of 266,360 bytes. At
today's hard disk prices, that amount of disk space is worth
something under a quarter of one cent (USA). It's about as
insignificantly small a file as you can find.

It's not up to you to discern whether what someone 'likes' or 'dislikes'
something is "foolish" you ass. Keep your own *opinions* to yourself, if we
want to hear it, we'll tell it to you.

Thing is, all you're doing here is telling people to trust some app to do
something, and they have no idea what it's done to their system to get the
desired result. It's no less safe to go into the registry as Unknown explained,
than to just let some app 'do something' and hope it did it correctly without
screwing anything else up at the same time. Anyone who actually has independent
thoughts, and know how to see past your recommendations, will sneeze at
anything you want to express your *opinion* about if they wish to.
