I tried to email a message with a large attachment. It is now stuck in my
outbox and I cannot delete it (I have tried every method to delete it) and
now I cannot send any other messages. This is my business outlook and I am
in an extreme quandry...help help help

File->Work Offline. Completely close and then reopen Outlook. Delete the message. File->uncheck Work Offline. Close and restart outlook.

Click Help>About and tell us exactly what version of Outlook you're using.

Which situation? Which tips? Just saying "all the tips" and "same
situation" is not going to get you much help. You need to put in some
effort by providing additional information.

This was the answer I was looking for. YES. FINALLY. I also deleted a
bunch of stuff and saved off all the attachments (using the tool recommended
on this forum). Between all of that, I am now funcitoning again in Outlook,
and fast!

Now, can someone tell me how to save off the emails into folders on hard
drive so they won't take up all my room in Outlook? I still have 1.8 Gb in
my .pst file. I'd like to reduce that size.

Thanks,
Karen

My opinion is that you should take advantage of autoarchiving or create
additional PSTs for yourself and leave the messages in Outlook.

I have the exact same situation... I tried all of the methods listed on the
link including the forcibly delete and a I get a Mapi_E_no access error.

I have set outlook to offline, turned off my internet, rebooted the computer
and it still says that the message has begun transmitting so I can't do
anything with it. Two days later and it is still "transmitting" and clogging
up the works.

I am using office 2007

Unplug the network cable before you reboot.
