New XP user
Santa came early. I just got a new machine with Windows XP/Pro on it. As
the administrator, I prepared my desktop, installed software, etc. Got it
exactly like I wanted it. The machine was just for me so I had no need to
create any more accounts.
But showing the machine off to my daughter, I played with creating an
account for here and it force me to make the first one an administrator
account before creating any new accounts. So I did this, creating a 2nd
admin account just to satisfy it and a 3rd account for my daughter.
Now I can't use the main administrator account again unless I change the
logging settings and use CTRL-ALT-DEL to get the old NT-like login prompt
where I can change the account name to login.
I prefer to do one of the following:
1) Preferably, delete the 2nd admin account. I don't need it. It won't let
me.,
2) Or copy the administrator profile to the new 2nd admin account. It won't
let me.
Tips?
Thanks
