Santa came early. I just got a new machine with Windows XP/Pro on it. As
the administrator, I prepared my desktop, installed software, etc. Got it
exactly like I wanted it. The machine was just for me so I had no need to
create any more accounts.

But showing the machine off to my daughter, I played with creating an
account for here and it force me to make the first one an administrator
account before creating any new accounts. So I did this, creating a 2nd
admin account just to satisfy it and a 3rd account for my daughter.

Now I can't use the main administrator account again unless I change the
logging settings and use CTRL-ALT-DEL to get the old NT-like login prompt
where I can change the account name to login.

I prefer to do one of the following:

1) Preferably, delete the 2nd admin account. I don't need it. It won't let
me.,
2) Or copy the administrator profile to the new 2nd admin account. It won't
let me.

Tips?

Thanks

You can press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at the welcome screen to ge the NT-style
logon screen and logon without changing the way users logon/off.

You should have at least two admin accounts in your case.

You can copy the profile to where ever (make sure you say "everyone" or at
least the new user has permissions to do use the copy) in a similar fashion
as the following article describes how to make the default profile:

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=305709

The difference (yes - it is the method for 2000, XP is very similar) is
basically where you copy the profile to.. Copy it to your new preferred
profile.
