Deleteing Email addresses 2003

How do you delete email addresses that are not in contacts or in the address
book? This is outlook 2003.

I see addresses that I do not use and do not want when I start to type an
address in the to window.

When they show up in an auto-complete listing, highlight them and hit the
Delete key
