deletegrimacid on toolbar

B

Brett

I picked up some kind of internet explorer hijacker that
does the following:

1) Creates an unwanted toolbar that I can't get rid of
(called deletegrimacid in view-->toolbars)
2) Created a bunch of favorite folders of adult, gambling
& so on, which I have deleted
3) The browser window flickers a couple of times for some
reason
4) I used to get tons of pop-ups, but I installed a
program called PestPatrol and it now seems to be blocking
most of those.

Any idea on how to get rid of this deletegrimacid
toolbar? I've run PestPatrol and SpyBot to no avail.

Thanks,
Brett

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:
