Restore registry from full backup made before editing. Or Merge the
limited .REG file for the key(s) you exported before editing.

Can you name the key/valuename you know you deleted? OS? SP level ?

What's the exact problem you're experiencing? Is it a hang at Search For
Files or Folders? Or are the entries completely gone. You need to be a bit
more specific with your problem since there's a lot of different keys you
could have deleted and a lot of different symptoms.
Depending on what you did, your problem may not be easily recoverable short
of a entry by entry comparison between your current hive and the one located
in the repair folder.

the problem I am having is now when I click on the search
