deleted partion

i accidentally deleted my partition on my external
firewire drive, but didn't reformatt it. Is it at all
possible to recover the partion?

In theory, if you just recreate the partition the EXACT same way you
created it originally it "should" work. Note that deleting a partition
doesn't delete any data, it just bars you from seeing/using it.
