Deleted file(s) do not delete, why?

I have Windows XP Pro users connected to a Small Business Server 2003 that
select a file on their C-drive and delete it.

Upon looking back in the folder where it was deleted, it shows up again--not
deleted.

Disconnecting from the network seems to keep them deleted; however, as soon
as the network cable is plugged back in and the user reconnects the file is
back.

Any ideas why this is happening?

This is probably caused by an incorrect configuration of
your roaming profiles.
