Deleted Data

I have a database that is created in access 2000. Someone meant to delete a
record but deleted the entire file for a specific company.

other companies are there but this particular company is gone with all is
corresponding records.

The tables are all there and everything connecting is there so the database
is together.

Is there anyway to retreive that information and restore it back into the
database?

Thanks

Bob and Chris are (alas) right on the money: deleted is pretty much GONE. For
some more technical details see Tony Toews' comments at

Moral: A database that contains nothing of any interest to anyone can be used
without maintaining backups. Other databases should be regularly backed up.

If your database is on a network, do check with the network admin. If you have
been living virtuously you MAY just be lucky enough to have a functional
backup recent enough to salvage your data.

most importantly-- if your database doesn't provide built-in
enterprise level tools -- specifically for backup-- then you're using
an obsolete database engine
