deleted a file

I deleted a folder (documents pictures) by accident and emptied the recycle
bin. Is there any way to recover this files w/o using the XP auto recovery?
I remember using undelete a long while ago but I could not find it.

Do nothing further on the computer. There are various programs to
undelete files. Restoration (free) has been recommended by many. I
haven't used it (I have professional data recovery software), but
people I respect say it is good.

I just found out it was a network drive. The utility you sent me does not
work on it. Any idea?
