delete "<user X>'s Documents" under my computer view

A user reported that on XP PRO under my computer their "user's Documents"
folder was leading them to an empty path. The my documents folder was on the
c drive. Playing around I ended up deleting the folder from the my computer
view. The user's files are there and they can reach saved documents if the
pick "my documents". I just seem to have gotten rid of the shortcut under
myc omputer. This is the view that contains all user's documents, drives,
shared drives, etc.

Can anyone help and let me know how do I recreate that folder/shortcut under
my computer?

thanks

The info displayed there is obtained from the registry from this key:

"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DocFolderPaths"

There should be one value for each user on the computer. Type REG_SZ. Data should be the path to
that user's My Documents folder.
