delete server in RAS

Perry Diels

Hello,

When I delete a server in RAS it is gone, even after rebooting it dosn't
show up again. But when clicking on refresh servers in the RAS console it
comes back. How can this obsolete server be deleted forever?

Thanks,
Perry

If you want to stop RAS on an obsolete server you should, rather than using
delete, use "Disable" RRAS.

Else,

RRAS management snap-in keeps the list of the servers from the previous
session , and refresh machines list will roll-back the list of the servers
into the previous list of machines from the current session. If you want to
manipulate the list of the machines you manage further, you can use
import/export list of the servers. This way you can edit the exported text
file accordingly and import later.

cheers,

Hello Atacan,

Thanks for your answer.

I could find an Export function in the RRAS console, but not Import.
Also the exported text file is very small (just one line of info per server.

Is this normal, or am I missing something?

Thanks,
Perry
