delete protected section

Dear Gurus:

Within a document I have a section that is protected for *filling in forms*.
However, while that section remains protected, would it be possible to
delete the same protected section should the user decide the section was no
longer needed within the document?

No, you'd have to unprotect the document, delete the section, and reprotect
the document.

That could be done by a macro, to avoid the user making other changes while
the document is unprotected; but the macro itself would have to go through
the same steps.
