Delete Mail from Outbox - nothing happens

Hi!

I tried to send two big mails via my email-provider. But it refuses sending
huge mails.

So I tried to delete the mails from the outbox - but nothing happend.
The mails remain in the outbox and outlook tries to send them again and again.

What can I do, to stop outlook from sending, or better to delete these mails?

Click File and check Work Offline. Stop and restart Outlook. Delete the
messages. Click File and uncheck Work Offline. Stop and restart Outlook.
