Delete files?

I am cleaning out my desktop PC and find some files in "windows" folder,
which I wish to know if I can safely delete.
One file is: $NeUninstallWudf01000$

All are similar with dollar sign at beginning and end of each file.

Are you certain that you entered the name correctly?

On most systems, you will find lots of folders in the \windows\ folder
beginning with $NtUninstall....

These folders contain the files necessary to uninstall a given program.
And, they may be deleted if you never expect to remove them. Exactly how
you would know that you will never need to uninstall any given program is
not real clear.

If you posted the name correctly, I would suspect malware. And, if it were
my computer, I would perform a thorough scan.

Did scan to find a few viruses!!!

So far unable to "clear" yellow exclamations showing in my device manager.
The PC & periferals appear to work ok, so am I safe to leave as is, after
all I am just trying to do good house keeping!!!
