Delete empy spaces

Hello,
hoping to get some help with the following:
I have in column A customer names that start with two
empty spaces. I want to be able to delete those two empty
spaces so that customer name appears correct.
Example,
CustomMotors this is how it looks in column A
CustomMotors is what I want to show in Column A

There are two many customers to go into each row and
delete them manually.
I also have rows that contain a * before a word Example,
* DISTI so not sure if I can also delete the * and spaces
to just show the word.
Please provide any info would appreciated alot.
