delete control toolbar check box

Have been away from excel for a while.Was making a quote sheet today and was
fooling around with check boxes..i now have a few control check boxes i cant
select to delete.How do get I rid them?

remove nospam for email addy!
 
Hi Paul
Click on the "Creation mode" button (pen with blue ruler) - please note
option caption may vary since I am using a french version - from the
controls tool box.
You will then be able to delete your controls.

Hi,

1. On the View menu, point to Toolbars and, then click Control Tool box.
2. Click the Design button, to toggle between Design mode and Exit Design
mode.
To delete check boxes, you should be in the design mode otherwise, You
cannot
delete the check box in Exit Design mode.
