delete combobox

How can I delete a combobox placed in a worksheet by VBA, after
I no longer need it? Or can it be hidden? But it has no visible-property.

worksheets("Sheet1").OleObjects("Combobox1").Delete

or

worksheets("Sheet1").OleObjects("Combobox1").Visible = False
