Dear all,

When i click on the address bar and type "f" some auto complete entries
always appear like "FREE SPY CAM"

No matter what i try i cannot delete them so please help.

Where does Internet Explorer stores all address bar auto complete entries?
and how can i delete them all?

Thanking you in advance,
Carlos.

Clear IE History,
AutoComplete,
and Clear List (depending on which Start Menu you are using): Right click
the Start button/Properties/Customize/Advanced/Recent Documents/Clear List.

Clean out Usage Tracks in Windows
http://www.12ghosts.com/ghosts/wash.htm
(12ghosts washLE >IE tab >clear address drop down list >IE restart)

Clear Search History under Search (Line 24)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Did all of the above without success.

Still typing "f" on the IE address bar reveals several autocomplete entries
including "FREE SPY CAM"

Please explain the following as i do not
understand them:

Clear the TIF, Clear the RunMRU, Typed URL's

Hi Carlos,

Try running this combo: Run Ad-Aware, Spybot and HijackThis:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html

More info here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_c.htm#cleanup

Note: Update each program, once installed, before running.

Note2: To avoid the False-Flag for the DSO Exploit (W3), open
Spybot/Advanced Mode/Settings/Ignore Products. On the All Products Tab,
scrol to DSO Exploit and check that item only. Randy (silj)

As for:

TIF - Temporary Internet Files
RunMRU - The tool I listed earlier.
Typed URLs - The same.

The latter two can also be cleared manually via the registry.

Clear Run History: Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\RunMRU

Typed URL's: Start/Run/Regedit: Open your registry and find the key below
and delete any value you want to remove.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
