Click once on the ActiveX control you wish to delete
to highlight it, then hit your "Delete" key.

I have done all of this. It does not delete. Even had a
microsoft partner come in and thay are confused. After
deleting and you go back in it is still there.

| Launch IE and from the Toolbar select:
| Tools > Internet Options > Settings > View Objects,
| then right-click on each to find your ActiveX control,
| then delete it.
