delete a messenger account

I want to delete a messenger account, I used a msn.com
account to set up messenger, and then added a hotmail
account. because I switched from dialup to highspeed cable
the msn account shoots me to outlook express, not the
msn.hotmail web page. my hotmail account goes straight to
the mail page...... which is what I want

I have tried removing the program through the conrol panel
but it always comes back with the msn acount already set up

Greetings Mike,

To change this, click Start, then Control Panel, then User Accounts, click the current
Windows XP account that you're logged in under, then click "Change my .NET Passport", choose
the "Use a Different Passport" button and go through the wizard to set your Hotmail account.
