delegation & email

Is there a way to set delegate permissions for email so that delegates
cannot read emails sent tow or from certain groups or individuals? Senior
executives want to communicate by email as a group without their admin
assistants being able to read those messages- but they still need the admin
assistants or junior executive delegates to access their inbox to manage
email.

If the messages are marked private, delegates shouldn't be able to see them.
