Delay in filling in boxes/forms

Does anyone know why when I try to fill out forms or
boxes (like in e-bay or mapquest) everything is delayed.
The cursor sometimes doesn't show in the boxes, typing is
delayed..almost up to 1 minute) and the scroll bar to the
right refuse to function.
