Delay between primary and secondary displays

In earlier versions of Powerpoint, such as version 2002, I could make a
change to a slide being displayed on the primary monitor and the change would
be displayed instantaneously on the secondary display screen. In powerpoint
2007 however, when I make a change to a slide on the primary monitor, there
is almost a three second delay before the change is displayed on the
secondary monitor.

My question is: Is there a way to change the delay time in powerpoint 2007
so that any change made to a slide will show instantaneously on the secondary
monitor?

I use Powerpoint strictly as a stand alone program and do not use Office or
anyother program associated with Office.

Hi Apoluo

AFAIK there is no setting for this. Please check you have the latest video
card driver, that you have a local colour printer driver installed (even if
there's no printer) and try this: How to set graphics hardware acceleration

Hello Lucy!

The problem was the graphics hardware acceleration setting. I had it set to
max and lowering it one notch solved the problem. I didn't think about this
being the problem but it was!
