Im trying to get a decimal degree to show up in a cell as
deg°-min'-sec." or enterin the degree as deg-min sec and getting a dec. degree
an6y body have any suggestions?

Jarhead, hold down the ALT key and enter the value 248 on the numeric
keypad. When you release the Alt key, you will see the degree symbol appear.

still having problems when i used the custom format hh°mm'ss\"
it returns a completely differnet number?
ex.
I typed 45° 29' 34.12"
and excel returns 21°29'34"
how do i fix this ?
