Defragmentation

I have been using Diskeeper lite for many months, tried to use it today and
it wouldn't open. Uninstalled and reinstalled the program - no change.
Decided to run the windows defragmentation program and the same thing
happened :-
A black dialog box (Dos?) opens for a second or so, not long enough to read
what the text says, and then closes again and nothing else happens. Have
tried a system restore but still no change, Any help please?

This self extracting zip archive contains some nice free software:

Diskeeper Lite v9.0 (Last one you can usually find on the net is v7.0)
NTI Backup Now 4.0.

If you have an intel motherboard you can use the included stress test
program too.

Uninstall your current version and try v9.0
