"Defragment" Outlook data file?

Win XP SP2 Office 2003 SP2

My Blackberry used to synchronize with my Outlook calendar until when I
received a "Send to Microsoft" error message and the synchronize operation
aborting. It happens every time when the program reads items from the
calendar (always at item #4 of 700 total).
Is there any way to "defragment" or refresh the data file? Any other
solutions?

You could try scanpst.exe, the repair tool on your data file, when OL is
closed, however its likely the sync software causing the problem
