Defragging questions.

I used Win Xps defrag utility and then Norton Speed Disk right after it.
Both took ages and then when I checked back on the XP defragger it told
me that I should "defrag this volume" Are they working against each
other? Should I use only one of them and if so which one?

Pick one and use it when you feel it's needed.
