Defrag

Looking for a prog that will defrag floppies. XP does not recognize them for
some strange reason!

Move the files off an put them back on.

Hi Andy,
back-up the files from floppy, format the floppy and just copy back the files Without
formatting the disk, the files will be not contiguous.

Youe can also try the CONTIG Utilities from www.sysinternals.com (Mark Russinovich).

Hello!


MS-DOS 6 Defrag is working very well! I think MS-DOS 5 would also do
the same......

Just type "defrag" on the MS-DOS Prompt.


Make a bootdisk with MS-DOS and copy defrag.exe on it. Dont start any
Memory Manager!!!
