Defrag problem

When I attempt to run Defrag, it starts but then the
system crashes to the blue screen with the error message:
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Stop:0X0000000A,0X00000166,0X00000000,0X804F5BC0
Any ideas on why? Thanks

Most blue screen errors are due to driver problems,
either corrupted or third-party unsigned drivers. Have
you recently installed new software? Also, try turning
off your antivirus scanner and see if the defragger
works. That is not a solution, but is a clue to the
problem.
