Hi,
I'm using an application named DOORS, which in it's latest version
provides the option to define a URL that represent an object in the DB.
An exmple format of such URL is:
doors://RAZ:36677/?version=1,prodID=0,dbid=42ca9a09126d1bf7,container=000015ed,object=12.
I would like to be able to send an email with the above URL, however,
when I copy it to OUTLOOK - it appears as text and not as a hyperlink.
My question is: how can I define a new URL type/prefix in office (like
gopher:, telnet:, file:, etc..) so outlook will automatically recognize
the above format as a hyperlink and not as text?
Currently I need to highlight the URL and select
"Insert->Hyperlink->Other".
Thanks for your help,
Raz
