defiant preview window

I'm trying to use text in small caps, with a 36 pt initial, in a certain
color. I get it good in my design page, but it won't pick up in preview or
in preview in browser. When I ask for a 24 pt hedline, it comes up in 12 pt
black even though I asked for red or whatever. My website is
www.tonyspage.com. can anyone help me?

Tony,
Something off the wall to check, in IE look under View | Text Size
and make sure it is set to medium. Sometimes this size changes by accident
or hitting a hotkey inadvertently. The FP preview is an embedded IE browser
window so if the text setting in IE is off, it will also be in the FP
preview pane as well.

Hope this helps,

The only text formatting I see is "msonormal" which means
you've copied/pasted from Word. Don't. Copy/paste from
Word to Notepad (strips off the formatting), then to FP.

Then apply styles in FP. Try the standards in the styles
pulldown in the upper left, next to the font name. Then
design your own styles with small caps, colors, etc.
Styles are your friends. Learn them, live them, love them.
See this page too.

And...you really shouldn't be using Indents (blockquotes)
to indent the text. Build tables and place the text in
cells.
