Defender update getting 0x8024002b

I am on a corporate network running Symantec AntiVirus 9.0.1.1000. I am not
running a personal firewall as I am behind the corporate firewall. I've read
other threads that said that Norton Iternet Security sometimes is the culprit
here but I'm not running that suite.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Same error for me, too. Running XP SP2, current as of the date of this post.
10.0.1.1000 for SAV Corporate edition and behind a corporate firewall and
also running Microsoft basic firewall.

If WSUS is implemented on your network, you need to have the administrator
enable the new class of updates for Windows Defender signatures.
