What are you trying to do? If you are having difficulty updating, I'd
recommend going to Windows Update and applying definitions offered there.
Live OneCare went gold today, according to an email I received.
I have an entry for the Windows Defender UI in my OneCare firewall advanced
settings--so you wouldn't want that disabled--otherwise, there's no need to
open any ports for Windows Defender to update.
