Default Value variations?

Hi I'm new to Access and at the moment I'm trying to put together a database for an Engineering Incident Report;
Where I am struggling is one field is for Shifts (Days Noons & Nights), I want to try and make it so when a new record opens the [shift] field automatically inputs which shift it is i.e. 07:00 to 14:00 = Days; 14:00 to 22:00 = Noons And 22:00 to 07:00 = Nights.

Any help would be welcome
