default share in win 2k

Hi,
I need to know how to disable the default sharing of the drive whenever the system boots up.... I have tried out this below method but without success.
Regedit\ hkey local mechine\system\current controlset\services\lanman workstation\perametersUnder this U create a DEWORD Value as AutoShareWks ( Case Sensitive) and the data is 0000000 only ( Automatically comes 0)


please help me. I am tired of removing the default sharing of the drive after every reboot.

There are a few problems with your method:

- You got the wrong key. It's mean to be
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters

- You misspelt the key in six places - see my # markers
hkey #local #me#chine\system\current #controlset\services\lanman
#workstation\pe#rameters

- You missed some of the value names:
AutoShareServer=0
AutoShareWks=0

You need to be extremely careful when working with the registry.
It will not tolerate any spelling errors at all!
