Default Page Setup

Is there a way in Access 2000 to define the default page setup for reports,
specifically with respect to portrait vs. landscape. I have found an option
to set the margins, but nothing to allow me to set portrait (8 1/2 by 11) as
a default.

Thx

What happens if you create a blank report with the orientation you want, and
save it as the template for new reports, under:
Tools | Options | Forms/Reports | Report Template

Peter,

I like to have a consistent look to my forms & reports, including the fonts
& locations of the titles, subtitles, selection criteria, etc. Simply create
a form that has all of these set up the way you like, including the Page
Orientation (File, Page Setup, Page tab, Landscape), and save it to something
like "MyReportTemplate". When creating a new report, copy this definition to
a new report, set the RecordSource property, and add your fields (or change
the ControlSource property of already embedded ones).

Hope that helps.
